I adopted my baby Jake from It’s a Ruff Life Rescue a litte over a year ago! I can’t imagine my life without him. You are wonderful people. Adopting is catching on – all of my friends have adopted rather than purchased from a breeder, so keep spreading the word.

Thanks for showing us how animals need and respond (with those eyes!) to our love.

Please check two videos on youtube showing just the contrary: “perroventilador” and “gato precoz bailarin”. Something should be done against people treating animals like this. Why ban porno from youtube and not animal mistreatment?

What a wonderful video . If everyone would watch this they might see how many dogs and cats end up in shelters every year . It really breaks my heart . Everyone needs to ADOPT !!! Kudos on this video .

The first time I wached this video I cried because it’s true most pet who end up in the pound wonder how they ended up there.

This video raises the most important point: SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR DOG OR CAT!!!

Don’t Shop, Adopt! God Bless all the little angels.
    Thank’s for the video.

I can not say enough about all these videos. For the past 7 years, all my cats & dogs have come from shelters. I will NEVER buy another dog from a breeder, individual, or pet store. I also foster dogs that have been saved fro shelters until they find forever homes. All these dogs are grateful, loving & very loyal.

Tears streamed down my face as I watched this. Of the 10 dogs we presently have, 6 of them are rescues. I wish I could give them all a home. My 4 cats are all rescues as well.
    Thanks for sharing.:)

I have three friends that I adopted from local shelters. I love every one of them very much but still every time I see a video like your’s, it makes me love my friends a little more. Thanks.

As a rescuer these images break my heart – but what you are doing by positing this is raizing awareness – everyone can make a difference – Imy group of rescue workers spay and nueter the strays from our own funds and find them homes… we do what we can – if eveyone did a little something every day, well, we wouldn’t have these heartbreakingly sad little lives to rescue.. thanks again!

I can’t watch these videos without crying. It is horrible the way people just throw their animals out like they are trash! Or just throw them out on the street! I love animals and it hurts my heart to see them like this.
I am in the process of adopting a shelter dog because I really believe all animals deserve a second chance!

Eyes are the window to the soul. Pound dogs are scared, alone, and confused. Their eyes beg for a second chance to live their life.

these rescues videos are breaking my heart! As a dog/cat lover and rescuer I feel sick to my stomach when I see such sad little faces looking through those bars.
