i am a adoptive mother of one of these dogs from this puppy
mill. People don’t even know how bad these conditions effect
the dogs on a perement basis. Our little girls is five years old
and she has come along ways in the 4 months since we got
her. Please don’t buy dogs from pet stores, thats where her
puppies are sent to and sold.

I rescued a Yorkie, the last of the over 800 dogs rescued a year ago outside Tucson. I have owned Yorkies for over 20 years, and she’s a sweetie! She had a lot of quirks @ first, but is becoming more like a normal dog every day. I posted a video about her as a video response above. To you who rescued the yorkies: Bless you. To those who adopted them: Be patient and thank you. To everyone else: NEVER buy dogs from puppy mills!

Most of them are in foster care while they are being spayed and neutered and learning how to be dogs. They need socialization and love. They are adapting quite well!
February 27th, 2010 - 3:23 am
how are those dogs now?
February 28th, 2010 - 12:26 pm
this broke my heart when i heard about it. i wanted to adopt one of the dogs, but it was too late and the humane society wouldnt take anymore potential adopter applications. i hope these dogs find a great home, because they really deserve it.

Ever since I found a lost yorkie, (found her family after a month) I been looking on petfinder to find the right one for our family, we already have one adopted female basset, saw her on petfinder, next day went to see her, and was able to bring her home the same day, she is spoiled, very smart, the princess of the house, and my second love and companion. My lily is one of the best dogs I ever had, would recommend to everybody adopting, research the breed, their needs.
