Milly and Teddy seek a fantastic home… together please

As the photos explain, sibling kittens Millie and Teddy must be adopted together.

They and 13 other cats and kittens were in a terrible state living in the dirt under a boarding house - weak and anaemic from flea infestations, starving, and another kitten had a broken leg from a dog attack.

Millie and Teddy are now about 16-weeks-old, vaccinated, micro-chipped, neutered and in perfect health.

They are gorgeous kittens, fully socialised, lovingly bonded, and very playful.

If you live in a traffic safe area and would like to offer a wonderful home to Millie and Teddy, please send your application to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Thank you.

Please help Bob to stay with his Dad

UPDATE: Bob and Greg are currently still together with Animal Re-homing providing Bob's food, etc. If you would also like to help this loving pair by contributing to the cost of their rent, please reference your donation "For Bob and Greg". Payment methods at

Due to financial hardship, Bob’s caregiver can no longer keep him. Greg adores this abandoned cat who came out of the bush and gradually worked his way into his heart and home about seven years ago. In Greg’s words, “It is only through my present situation that I am looking to place Bob in a loving, safe environment. He is a special boy and hopefully will bring as much joy to you as he has to me…”

Bob is initially suspicious of strangers, so he will need someone who will patiently wait for him to trust them. Once trust is established, this handsome boy is very affectionate and playful. He rolls onto his back and enjoys gentle interaction on the floor or sitting alongside Greg on the couch.bob-face1-gregv With his loud purr and companionable presence, Bob will make someone a special friend. It would be ideal if he lived in a low-traffic area with bush nearby and someone at home most of the time. A child and dog-free home is sought where finances for vet care in his sunset years will be available.

We are looking for a quiet, loving home where Bob can have indoor and outdoor access through a cat door in a one or two person household. It would be lovely if Bob can again be the only cherished pet.

Bob’s age is unknown. He is in good health and is neutered, micro-chipped, wormed and flea treated.

Chico is an active young cat who began his life in the ‘care’ of a neglectful family. He is very lucky to have survived the starvation, negligence and manhandling. He is now in great condition, boisterously playful and - once he trusts you - he is very affectionate.bob-relaxing-gregv One of his favourite pastimes is shredding paper, so you may prefer to lock the office door and hide the shopping list! He enjoys chasing strings and purring and cuddling up on our laps while we are at the work station.

If you can offer two-year-old Chico the most loving of homes, we would be delighted to hear from you. You will need to live on an extremely quiet street or at the end of a very long driveway and, if you have children, your youngest must be at least seven years old. He could happily live with a cat-friendly dog.

When he’s not distracted by play, this lovely boy is initially his new caregivers must be gentle and patient while he settles in. Chico has been vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and treated for worms and fleas. He is currently living in Auckland.
